Lidl claims their version offers fashions fans an opportunity to be ‘bang on trend without breaking the bank.’

The two styles which look virtually the same once on can only be separated by their difference in material.

Birkenstock use cork for their footbed and has flexible leather lining to ‘contour’ the shoe to the wearers foot. The brand also prides itself on ensuring each of their styles are durable and gentle on skin.

Lidl’s range uses a leather footbed with built in support for 문피아 comfort in warm weather.

The supermarket is offering glitter or bronze designs in sizes 3.5 – 7, whilst the classic black and brown pairs come in sizes 7.5-11.5.

Another retailer who has taken inspiration from high-end fashion is e-retailer who recently released espadrilles similar to .

Fashon e-tailer Nasty Gal is selling a pair of black raffia flatforms for £25 – and they look virtually identical to Miu Miu’s £360 sandals.

While the crossover fabric straps on the designer sandals are suede, the copycat versions are made from synthetic materials.

The other giveaway is the black stitching around the edges of the cheaper shoes’ flatform sole.

Aside from that, the only glaring difference between the two pairs is the price.

Nasty Gal has described its Santa Clara espadrilles as ‘a perfect excuse to get away’, featuring a platform jute sole, 문피아 slip-on design and an open toe.

The high end Miu Miu version is available on Net-a-Porter in both black and 문피아 baby pink.
